Role Overview

We are seeking a Systems Engineering Manager responsible for leading the systems design department for projects and bids. This includes developing requirement specifications, managing system and subsystem designs, operational analysis, and maintaining development processes. The role involves providing technical guidance, appointing and mentoring leads, and ensuring compliance with customer requirements and industry standards.

Major Challenges
  • Developing and maintaining systems design and requirements management processes.
  • Addressing unexpected technical issues promptly.
  • Ensuring designs meet customer specifications with minimal risk.
  • Promoting reuse of existing designs for efficiency and risk mitigation.
Key Accountabilities

As a manager, you will create a performance-driven culture, develop talent, and ensure alignment of work demand and capacity. You will foster team growth, manage resource planning, and drive a collaborative team environment within the Urban Rail Signaling domain.

Management Responsibilities
  • Develop, train, and motivate the systems design team.
  • Create a positive, high-achieving work environment.
  • Set objectives, support professional development, and oversee hiring and mentoring.
  • Establish and maintain structured design processes.
  • Manage resource planning, schedules, and budgets.

Minimum Requirements

  • Strong technical writing and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
