Your Opportunity

Our Toronto office is looking for a Senior Manager to join the leadership of the Strategy, Value Creation & Analytics practice in our Financial Advisory Services team.

Strategy, Value Creation & Analytics helps companies drive profitable growth and improve financial and operational performance. We assist our clients in navigating urgent and critical situations where significant value is at stake, including defining moments such as M&A transactions, business transformation, growth, or recovery. Our team takes a practical, hands-on approach to rapidly identify high-impact initiatives that drive improved EBITDA and cash flow via a data-driven approach. Typical projects include:

  • Performance improvement and turnaround
  • Strategy and business planning
  • Revenue growth and margin improvement
  • Cost reduction and working capital optimization
  • Process improvement and operating model design
  • M&A:
    • Integration or carve-out/separation planning and execution
    • Market, commercial, and operational due diligence
    • Pre-divestiture performance improvement
    • Synergies analysis
  • Business transformation
  • Applied business analytics

In your role as a Senior Manager, you will:

  • Lead teams of various sizes on client projects, ensuring scope, quality, value, cost, risk, and timely delivery
  • Lead content development for projects, including hypotheses identification, analysis requirements, planning, insights & recommendations
  • Drive sales and business development activities, including identifying opportunities, preparing proposals, and presenting to clients
  • Demonstrate expertise across several project areas within Strategy, Value Creation & Analytics
  • Provide technical and analytical guidance to client teams for superior decision-making
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients at senior levels
  • Contribute to the growth and management of the practice
  • Engage in marketing activities, including creating marketing materials and thought leadership content
  • Coach and mentor team members

Your experience and education

  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degrees or professional designations (e.g., MBA, CPA, Six Sigma) are assets
  • Experience in business development and advisory services
  • Proven track record in delivering full-cycle consulting projects
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
  • Financial and commercial acumen
  • Leadership skills with limited oversight
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Industry knowledge in sectors like Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Energy, or Private Equity is desirable
