As a Senior Manager, Tax [Research and Development & Government Incentives] your responsibilities will include:

  1. Support the strategic management and expansion of the National SR&ED practice
  2. Serve as the primary liaison with the CRA and oversee CRA audits related to SR&ED
  3. Guide teams in understanding all aspects of SR&ED policies and administration, focusing on financial and tax matters
  4. Manage client engagements, ensuring accurate preparation, comprehensive reviews, and finalization of detailed summaries that reflect incurred SR&ED expenses
  5. Collaborate closely with tax and assurance teams to prepare and review SR&ED tax incentive entries for claims
  6. Coach, mentor and develop the performance of junior team members

  4. Be Diligent – our work is deadline driven, highly confidential and important to driving the Canadian economy forward through job creation and investment. We are proud of the impact we have on Canadian businesses and ensure we capture every eligible aspect of work performed.
  5. CPA designation
  6. Minimum 8 years previous experience in a SR&ED consulting environment
  7. Previous coaching/mentoring experience
  8. Proficient with the use of Excel, Taxprep and Profile software
