Senior Manager, SOQM Controls - Resource Management

The Resource Management team is part of KPMG’s National Audit Operations group, focusing on centralization, standardization, and automation to support audit engagement teams.

Resource Management aims to standardize and optimize resources for our firm, clients, and staff by:

  • Aligning the right people to the right work for high-quality service
  • Facilitating resource sharing across business functions
  • Enhancing workforce planning, leveraging models, contractors, and offshore resourcing
  • Utilizing tools to match audit professionals’ skills and interests with engagement needs

The Senior Manager, Resource Management - Process Standardization will oversee internal controls related to compliance and contribute to improving control frameworks, policies, and procedures.

What You Will Do

  1. Understand and develop National Resource Management processes and controls
  2. Design and implement process improvements
  3. Build relationships with internal stakeholders (e.g., Learning and Development, Audit Quality, Leadership)
  4. Manage interactions with Business Units and senior leaders
  5. Collaborate on process optimization and efficiency initiatives
  6. Support IT tools and solutions that underpin processes and controls
  7. Stay informed on SOQM and regulatory requirements
  8. Prepare reports on SOQM for stakeholders
  9. Work with the SOQM team and Resource Management leadership on remedial actions

What You Bring To The Role

  • CPA with 5+ years of audit or relevant experience
  • Experience with internal controls (e.g., SOX, ICFR)
  • Effective communication skills for senior audiences
  • Experience managing large projects with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to lead projects within compliance frameworks
  • Process improvement and challenge skills
  • Empathy and professionalism in team interactions

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range is $103,000 to $154,500, plus potential bonuses, based on location, skills, and qualifications. KPMG offers a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
