What is the opportunity?

Do you have a passion for helping advisors grow their knowledge? If so, this may be the role for you!

As the Senior Manager, Sales Enablement, you will lead a team providing in-field consultation and training to RBC Insurance (RBCI) Advice Center & Field Sales Advisors and Leaders for the Life, Living Benefits, and Wealth product lines. Your team will be responsible for achieving sales and business development goals by supporting RBC Insurance Advisors through in-field training, consultation, and joint client meetings.

What will you do?

  • Support and coach Insurance Advice Consultants to ensure effective in-field training, consultations, and joint client meetings.
  • Maintain key partnerships with business heads, senior leaders, RVPs, Business Development, and H.O. Partners.
  • Deliver presentations at national and leadership events.
  • Build content, deliver training, and coach your team to support business goals.
  • Upskill Sales & Advice consultants on sales concepts, market trends, and product updates.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Strong collaboration skills with proven communication, presentation, and facilitation abilities.
  • Professional sales experience demonstrating passion through opportunity spotting, cross-selling, and exceeding targets.
  • Advanced insurance product knowledge and active engagement in the insurance industry.
  • Strong consulting, organizational, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven success in relationship management.
  • A car and valid driver’s license. Travel: 25-50%.
  • Life License Qualifying Program (LLQP) designation.

Nice-to-have

  • University education or equivalent in a relevant field.
  • French language skills are considered an asset.
  • Industry designations (e.g., CLU, CHS, CFP).
