Job Description

What will you do?

  • Act as a strategic partner to finance leadership and identify opportunities and reporting solutions

  • Collaborate with cross-functional groups to understand reporting needs, map out workflows, pain points, transformation opportunities, then, translate into scalable reporting solutions

  • Design and develop advanced reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, RPAs

  • Accountable for the production, maintenance, and enhancements of financial report

  • Assess current financial reporting processes and identify opportunities for automation, optimization, and modernization. Identify and automate manual finance processes to drive operational efficiency

  • Monitor and maintain automated solutions to ensure reliability and accuracy over time

  • Ensure data accuracy, integrity, and governance by establishing reliable data pipelines and validation processes


What do you need to succeed? Must-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business/Accounting/Finance or Post-secondary education with strong knowledge (5+ Years) of financial reporting processes and technology

  • Strong financial systems knowledge (PeopleSoft, Adjustment Capture, FiBRS, Requestor Tools, EPM, CDM)

  • Knowledge of source systems in the business units and reporting processes (e.g., business rules management, month-end close, etc.)

  • Previous experience designing and developing advanced reporting solutions using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, Python, RPAs

  • Strong Excel and VBA skills- VBA Object Modeling; SQL, Data Normalization

Nice-to-have:

  • Previous financial industry experience

  • Previous experience automating reports
