JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a Senior Manager responsible for our Etobicoke Residential Rehabilitation Program, Clinic & Group Program, and Supported Living Apartment (SLA) Program. The Etobicoke Residence is a 24-hour care group home. The Clinic, based at the Residence, features multidisciplinary treatment rooms, a physiotherapy gym, and a clubhouse for the adult Group Program, which also supports community and in-home care. The SLA provides private suites with 24-hour support and programming.

The Senior Manager will support brain injury survivors with physical, mental, behavioral, and substance use challenges, facilitating recovery through functional rehab and goal development.

Qualifications

Credentials

  • Master’s degree in a health-related field; specialization in neurology or rehabilitation preferred.
  • Member of a regulatory college in Ontario preferred: Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Behavior Therapy, or Nursing; completion of CEUs as required.
  • G driver’s license, vehicle, and insurance for client transport and travel between locations.

Experience

  • 5-10 years of progressive experience in rehabilitation healthcare; leadership in clinical and program development.
  • Experience working with individuals with mental health issues, dual diagnoses, behavioral issues, chronic pain, and addictions.

  • Technological literacy and ability to operate business software.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide clinical and program oversight, supervise staff, ensure compliance with standards and policies.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans, monitor progress, and address client barriers.
  • Manage facilities, participate in business development, handle client admissions/discharges.
  • Draft reports, maintain knowledge of client programs, facilitate meetings.
  • Oversee program costs, support billing and financial functions.
  • Address client and staff concerns, maintain staffing levels, support HR functions.
  • Ensure compliance with health standards, participate in audits, maintain data quality.
  • Serve on-call, ensure health and safety standards, participate in quality initiatives.
  • Complete clinical hours as needed, maintain confidentiality, adhere to policies.
