Job Description

Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives tangible, impactful, and financial results for Visa’s network clients, including both financial services and merchants. Drawing on our expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, brand management, marketing, operational, and macroeconomics, Visa Consulting and Analytics solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

The US Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa’s largest issuers in the United States. We apply deep expertise in the payments industry to provide solutions that assist clients with their key business priorities, drive growth, and improve profitability. The VCA team offers a comprehensive range of consulting services to address challenges in areas such as profitability, strategic growth, customer experience, digital payments, and risk management.

The VCA team is seeking a Senior Manager to join our Product Experience Design (PxD) and Digital consulting practice, developing high-impact projects for Visa’s clients in North America. The candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions with Issuers, Merchants, and Co-Brand Partners. The role involves developing initiatives to promote sustainable and profitable growth, ensuring Visa remains both a preferred brand and a unique business partner.

Potential engagements include digital customer experience assessments, product development, program launches, customer acquisition (digital and in-branch), lifecycle optimization, retention strategies, benchmark analysis, and profitability enhancement.

Responsibilities include:
  • Proactively engaging with Visa teams in strategic discussions and managing a pipeline of work with issuers, merchants, and co-brand partners.
  • Leading consulting initiatives and contributing to business development by identifying opportunities with clients.
  • Developing frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations focused on digital engagements.
  • Building solutions and insights to help clients grow their portfolios and merchant engagement.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams across Visa to leverage resources for project execution.
  • Producing insights, analyses, and strategic recommendations to improve client performance and growth, with a focus on digital.
  • Manipulating and analyzing large data sets to derive meaningful insights and recommendations.
  • Creating scalable solutions, toolkits, and best practices applicable across the VCA practice.

Ideal candidates are self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of delivering strategic leadership and high-impact solutions. The role requires building enduring relationships with clients and internal teams. This is an individual contributor role reporting to a Senior Director within VCA.

This position is hybrid, with in-office days to be confirmed by the hiring manager.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, or 5+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 2+ years with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 9+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's, or 7+ years with an advanced degree, or 3+ years with a PhD.
  • Experience at a large management consulting firm or digital agency.
  • Experience with financial indicators and ROI impact.
  • Strong analytical skills and intellectual rigor.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects.
  • Knowledge of banking operations, payments, digital customer experience, and marketing initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Experience with design thinking and human-centered design methodologies.
  • Curiosity about digital trends and technology.
