Purpose

Lead and oversee GTB Product Onboarding for Digital Channels in Canada, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities
  1. Foster a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage bank-wide systems and knowledge.
  2. Partner with product owners and business segments to deliver capabilities for ScotiaConnect Digital Channels, including:
  • Develop a vision and roadmap aligned with strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate with teams to understand and articulate product vision and impacts.
  • Gather requirements, perform user acceptance testing, and ensure quality delivery.
  • Work with IT and UX teams to enhance product capabilities and customer experience.
  • Define user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
  • Manage and prioritize product backlogs.
  • Review and approve development work before release.
  • Contribute to solution discussions and support team performance.
  • Collaborate with SMEs to define system requirements and develop implementation plans.
  • Participate in Agile processes, including release planning and sprint grooming.
  • Facilitate user testing and gather customer feedback.
  • Ensure operational risk management and compliance.
  • Build a high-performance, inclusive team through effective leadership and development strategies.
  • Qualifications
    • Experience in Agile Project Management
    • Certification in PSPO or similar
    • Experience in Customer/Product onboarding and servicing
    • Knowledge of AML, KYC, NIRA
    Work Arrangement
    • Office-based with non-standard hours and limited domestic travel
