Job description
About the role:

We are looking for a Senior Product Design Manager to lead our developer strategy and design systems teams. Your primary focus will be on shaping Webflow’s developer products, including Custom Code, Webflow Cloud, and extensibility. You will also guide the evolution and scale of our Spring Design System so it can support the company as we grow.

You will work closely with engineering and product partners to turn complex technical concepts into intuitive, powerful experiences. You will champion a builder culture that encourages teams to explore ideas through making, validate concepts quickly, and bring clarity to complex problems. You will set a high bar for craft, mentor designers, and explore how AI can transform both developer workflows and design systems.

This role is both strategic and hands-on. You will coach teams, scale our systems, and communicate the impact of design clearly to senior leaders. Most importantly, you will empower developers and designers to create the future of the web with Webflow.

Responsibilities
  • Set a high bar for craft by shaping developer tools and design systems that are simple, intuitive, and powerful
  • Champion a builder culture where teams explore ideas early and often to spark alignment and push the work forward
  • Bring real experience with AI, from shipping features to experimenting with side projects, and use that knowledge to shape how we design with it
  • Partner closely with engineering by co-creating solutions, understanding technical tradeoffs, and building trust across disciplines
  • Communicate clearly with senior leaders by framing design systems and developer tools as critical to adoption, growth, and long-term product strategy
  • Lead change by creating systems people want to use and driving adoption through thoughtful workflows, rituals, and governance
  • Foster a maker’s culture that is curious, experimental, and playful while grounding the team in rigor and design excellence
