Job summary

British Columbia Investment Management Corporation (BCI) is seeking a Senior Manager to lead private investment valuation across Private Equity, Infrastructure and Private Credit from its Victoria office. You will apply DCF, market multiples and income approaches, guiding governance and communicating with senior management and the Valuation Committee.

Based in Victoria, this role offers a competitive base salary CAD 125,000–150,000, a performance‑based incentive plan, health and dental benefits,

Qualifications

• Experience in valuation methodologies for illiquid assets (private equity, infrastructure, private debt).
• Ability to communicate complex valuation matters to senior management and committees.
• Proven track record managing external valuators and governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Execute private investment valuation processes across private markets.
• Engage asset class teams, auditors and the Valuation Committee.
• Manage external valuators and develop direct reports.
• Champion technology and AI to improve efficiency and governance.
