Senior Manager, Private Equity Fund Controller

Job Overview

The principal responsibility of this role is to oversee and assist in the fund accounting and client service for our Private Equity fund administration clients. This includes managing operational work across global locations, financial statement preparation, client visits, global projects, and client integration management.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead client relationship management for PE fund administration clients
• Supervise staff and oversee daily operations
• Prepare US GAAP & IFRS reports for closed-ended fund structures, including PE or Infrastructure
• Develop and maintain global client relationships, optimize service offerings, and improve profitability
• Produce financial statements and investor communications
• Manage NAV preparation and review processes for PE funds
• Utilize investor reporting systems such as Investran, eFront, and investor portals like Investment Café (ICX) and FIS Data Exchange (IDX)
• Ensure compliance with procedures and policies
• Support integration of large fund mandates
• Enhance fund administration platforms for process automation and standardization
• Collaborate with operational centers and work on global projects

Required Skills and Experience

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant experience
• Deep understanding of complex fund structures and fund accounting
• Strong client service orientation and commercial awareness
• Experience working at a PE fund or PE administrator
• Proven leadership and supervisory skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to automate processes using Excel and fund systems (Investran, eFront); Yardi experience is a plus
• Knowledge of US investor services and KYC standards
