Senior Manager, People Operations - Canada

Salary Grade: Level 18 - $112,176 in starting year

Be a Driving Force Behind People, Purpose, and Performance. Are you a strategic HR leader ready to help shape the future of our workforce? MSF Canada is looking for an experienced and visionary Senior Manager, People Operations to lead the evolution of our People strategy, culture, and systems.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, this role is central to building a high-performing, inclusive, and resilient organization. You'll oversee the full employee lifecycle—integrating talent, well-being, culture, and organizational effectiveness—through progressive HR practices grounded in humanity, integrity, and results.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead HR strategy and operations across Canada, from recruitment to retention, performance to HR policy
  • Collaborate with senior leaders to align HR practices with organizational goals and values
  • Champion a workplace culture that is inclusive, supportive, and mission-driven
  • Guide and develop a high-performing People team
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation in Ontario and Quebec
  • Drive innovation in HR processes using data and project management tools

You bring:

  • Broad experience across People/HR functions including talent acquisition, policy, compliance, and organizational design
  • Proven leadership of diverse, high-impact teams
  • Deep knowledge of employment legislation and HR best practices
  • Strategic thinking with the ability to align people strategies to organizational outcomes
  • Advanced Excel and data fluency, and a working knowledge of project management tools
  • Bilingualism in French is highly beneficial
