About the Role

Reporting into the London Senior Director of Administration, this role will serve as a member of the London Department Head Leadership Team representing the HR function, and will partner with senior leaders to deliver the people agenda for the London practice office. Playing an integral role within Latham’s Human Capital & Talent team, this role will be responsible for the management of the practice office HR advisory team, as well as developing and leading team and project workstreams that execute Human Capital & Talent strategies. This role will be located in our London office.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Serving as a trusted advisor to practice office and global leadership, providing advice and guidance across all human capital topics at a complex level, including employee relations and change management.
  • Driving initiatives to enhance organisational effectiveness, including talent development, resource management, and colleague engagement.
  • Providing oversight of performance management and compensation processes and practices.
  • Utilising data-driven insights to optimise Human Capital & Talent strategies, and leveraging market intelligence to make informed business decisions.
  • Leading a multi-disciplinary team with a focus on professional development including encouraging team mobility and the development of new skills and capabilities.
  • Championing colleague well-being and contributing to enable a work environment that is equitable and offers fair treatment, transparency, inclusiveness, personal accountability, trust, and mutual respect.

We’d love to hear from you if you:

  • Display effective communication and interpersonal abilities, and the ability to manage clients and stakeholders.
  • Possess excellent leadership skills and ability to cultivate relationships across teams at all organisational levels.

And have:

  • Relevant progressive Human Resources leadership and management experience.
  • Experience of working in a global matrixed organisation.
  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in human resources, business administration, or a related field.
