We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Program/Project Manager to lead a team to help drive planning, creative workflow management, content system administration, and project/program management across cross-functional initiatives that drive strategic business impact. This role requires a results-driven professional with strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills to manage multiple projects and people simultaneously—ranging from large-scale marketing campaigns and website redesigns to annual planning, prioritization, and team efficiency optimization.
As a Senior Program/Project Manager, you will partner closely with marketing leaders and stakeholders across Marketing, Creative, and other departments to drive clarity, accountability, and momentum across programs. You will manage planning, prep, and execution while being a champion for continuous improvement, resource alignment, and on-time delivery, while elevating risks or blockers to maintain forward movement.
What You'll DoStrategic Planning
- Lead annual and quarterly planning and processes across Marketing to define and prioritize initiatives.
- Lead prioritization and tradeoff discussions across marketing teams to ensure alignment and effective planning and execution.
Project Planning & Execution
- Manage end-to-end program delivery for large-scale cross-functional projects (e.g., website revamps, marketing technology integrations, global campaigns, etc.).
- Drive alignment across teams to ensure strategic objectives are translated into actionable and executable project plans.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, dependencies, deliverables, RACI, and success criteria.
- Lead project execution from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and timelines.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently with varying levels of complexity and scale.
- Manage creative projects, resourcing, capacity, and workflows.
- Manage a team who assists with marketing program/project management.
Stakeholder Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders across the organization for planning and projects under management.
- Facilitate effective communication of project goals, status updates, risks, and decisions.
- Lead regular project meetings and stand-ups with distributed teams to maintain alignment and visibility.
Resource Coordination
- Partner with cross-functional leaders to prioritize initiatives and accordingly allocate resources across creative team members.
- Assess project trade-offs, dependencies, and resource capacity to ensure feasibility and efficiency.
- Balance competing priorities while ensuring high-impact initiatives remain on track.
Leadership & Risk Management
- Take full ownership and accountability of project outcomes with the project team.
- Proactively identify potential risks, conflicts, and blockers; develop mitigation plans and escalate when needed.
- Foster a solution-oriented environment to remove barriers and drive successful execution.
Quality Assurance
- Ensure that all deliverables meet quality standards and align with overall strategic objectives.
- Conduct retrospectives on major projects to gather feedback and identify areas of improvement for future initiatives.
Process Improvement & System Administration
- Continuously evaluate project management workflows and identify areas for process optimization.
- Implement best practices, internal training, tools, and systems for efficient project tracking, reporting, and execution.
- Support system administration related to project management tools and platforms.
Team Management
- Manage and mentor a team of two project/program managers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, ownership, and continuous learning.
What You'll Bring- 7+ years of experience in program/project management, preferably in a cross-functional or matrixed organization.
- Proven success leading complex, high-visibility projects from inception through completion.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies and tools (Adobe Workfront, MS Project, Jira).
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience managing creative, marketing, or digital projects is a strong plus.
- Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to change.
