What is the Opportunity?

Reporting to Senior Director, Global Marketing, the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communication Programs will be responsible for managing the communications portfolio to build brand awareness and drive overall business objectives.

In this role, you will be at the forefront of developing and executing content that aligns with the organization's thought leadership goals and objectives. You’ll work closely with the marketing leadership team and key internal marketing stakeholders to evolve the company and product narrative. You will be responsible for writing a variety of content pieces including but not limited to byline articles, blogs, reports, press releases, scripts, presentation material and speaking and award submissions. You will collaborate with colleagues to develop content to ensure consistency in tone, voice and message and share through a variety of channels to reach target audiences in the financial services sector.

Additionally, you will be actively involved in the global event program working alongside the global event manager to develop speaker material including presentations for face to face and digital events, content agendas, speaking notes and speaker submissions ensuring Zafin subject matter experts have visibility at industry conferences and via podcasts and webinars. In partnership with your marketing colleagues, you will showcase a deep understanding of our corporate story and product messaging to share at Zafin and industry events. This hands-on role also requires a strong understanding of event content strategy, project management and digital and face to face event experience strategies.

What will you do?

Content Creation

• Collaborate with internal subject matter experts to develop thought leadership content to help position the organization as a key contributor to industry topics.
• Work collaboratively with content writers, campaign, digital and design teams to create compelling content for various channels including press releases, articles, blog posts, podcasts, webinars, presentations and social media.
• Ensure consistency in messaging across all communication platforms.
• Work with the broader team to manage editorial calendars for all channels ensuring alignment with business priorities, marketing programs and technology roadmap.
• Research, manage and write award submissions to secure 3 rd party recognition for Zafin, its products and solutions
• In coordination with internal stakeholders maintain a crisis communication plan.Provide issues and crisis communications support including drafting reactive and proactive messaging and fielding inquiries from media
• Use data to continually refine and improve communication initiatives
• Partner with People & Culture team to align on internal communications messaging to drive employee engagement, champion Zafin culture and support execution of enterprise business objectives.

Global EventContent Planning

• Responsible for leading event content strategy, key message development to support best in class event program to accelerate brand awareness and lead generation efforts
• Develop content strategy and agendas for Zafin’s own leadership events that occur throughout the year
• Identify and secure speaking opportunities for Zafin leadership and subject matter experts at industry events
• Work closely with global event manager to assess the rolling calendar of key industry events, hosted experiences, face to face, digital events and sponsorship opportunities aligned to Zafin go-to-market priorities and align content strategies accordingly
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure events and associated content strategies ladder up to integrated campaign and brand strategies
• Work with event manager to ensure seamless content strategy as part of overall event program. Measure effectiveness and impact of content at events and build ROI metrics

Requirements:

• 10+ years of relevant experience in strategic communications. Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal. This position has high engagement with internal stakeholders, clients, partners and vendors
• Established experience in and excellent understanding of the banking and fintech sector to support the creation of content pieces
• Willingness to collaborate with peers to develop content and messaging in line with overall content strategy and event objectives
• Passion for working on high touch, first class event programs that position Zafin as an innovator
• Ability to perform well under deadlines with exceptional attention to detail
• Proven success working in cross-functional teams
• A balanced skillset of strategic thinking and willingness to deliver on plans, tactics with excellence
• Ability to multitask and keep calm under pressure
• Previous experience in the financial services sector or working in a B2B tech environment preferred
• A degree in communications, business marketing and/or journalism
