Job summary

A leading staffing agency in Toronto is looking for a senior professional to lead platform operations within a hybrid structure. This role requires a university degree in technology or engineering as well as 12+ years of experience in financial services. Ideal candidates will have deep knowledge of Oracle tools and experience managing global teams. The salary ranges from CA$110,000.00 to CA$125,000.00.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of enterprise-scale production support experience, ideally in financial services.
• Deep knowledge of Oracle OFSAA, FCCM, Mantas, ODI, OAS, DIH and batch processing environments.
• Strong experience with Oracle databases and troubleshooting complex batch processes.
• Proven track record of leading global, distributed teams with excellent people management skills.
• Ability to build strong partnerships across business and technology stakeholders.

Overview

Hybrid (4 days/week in office)

What You’ll Do

• Lead & Oversee Platform Operations – Ensure Oracle AML batches run smoothly, SLAs are met, and issues are quickly resolved.


• Optimize & Automate – Drive automation of manual tasks, improve processes, and re-engineer Oracle batches in partnership with engineering teams.


• Incident Management – Manage bridges during system incidents, coordinate responses, and ensure effective resolutions.


• Documentation & Testing – Keep DR documentation current, plan and execute disaster recovery tests, and maintain runbooks.


• Strategic Delivery – Plan and oversee infrastructure patches, environment changes, and production improvements.


• Collaboration & Mentorship – Act as the EST point of contact for global vendor teams, mentor support staff, and promote best practices.


• Performance Tracking – Report weekly KPIs, status updates, and manage backlogs for ongoing improvements.


• Culture Building – Foster innovation, accountability, and process excellence across distributed teams.
