Senior Manager, IT Risk & Governance Oversight (CTC)

This role at Questrade Financial Group involves providing oversight of the Technology risk management and governance framework, particularly for outsourced technology services at Community Trust Company (CTC). The position requires evaluating and challenging IT risk practices, monitoring risk indicators, ensuring compliance with regulations, and collaborating across departments to maintain a strong risk management culture.

Responsibilities include :

• Overseeing and challenging the first line of defense in IT & Cyber risks.
• Maintaining expertise in regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Reviewing and validating IT and cybersecurity controls.
• Monitoring third-party risk assessments and key risk indicators.
• Reporting on residual risks and emerging trends.
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders on risk assessments and frameworks.
• Ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, including OSFI guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have 7-10 years of experience in Technology Risk Management or related roles within financial services, hold relevant certifications (e.g., CISA, CRISC), and possess strong communication and leadership skills.
