Job Description

Specialized Operational Risk Management (SORM) at TD involves targeted risk identification, assessment, and mitigation specific to TD’s operations, including data, technology, cybersecurity, conduct, insider risk, fraud, physical security, and investigations.

About This Role

This is a second line of defense role, independent of business segments, reporting to the Vice President of Enterprise Conduct, Insider and Fraud Risk Management. The role provides expertise in Investigations Practices Risk Management.

Responsibilities

1. Develop and report on enterprise insider risk management metrics for risk committees, including Board level.
2. Analyze data to produce quarterly risk profiles and provide insights on insider risk management.
3. Partner with business segments to present insights and support decision-making.
4. Research industry trends and incorporate findings into reporting.
5. Assess and develop insider key risk indicators and metrics.
6. Update reports to reflect jurisdictional views and systemic themes.
7. Develop an internal attestation process for data validation.
8. Provide consultative support and strategic insights through data analysis.
9. Oversee and challenge first line insider risk reporting.
10. Contribute to the development of Risk Appetite Statements and manage breach documentation.
11. Support projects ensuring data and reporting needs are met.
12. Maintain detailed documentation of projects.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree or technical certificate in data analytics and risk reporting.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience in risk management and people management.
• 5+ years relevant experience.
