A major Canadian financial institution seeks a Senior Manager for Insider Risk Awareness. This role aims to design and implement educational programs aimed at minimizing insider threats, fostering a culture of awareness and prevention amongst employees. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in adult learning and excellent communication skills, driving initiatives to educate staff across all levels. This position offers a dynamic work environment with opportunities for professional growth within the organization.
The Senior Manager, Insider Risk Awareness – Global Security positionfocuses on educating employees about insider threats, which are risks posed by individuals with authorized access who may intentionally or unintentionally harm an organization.This role involves designing and delivering training programs that educate employees on recognizing potential insider threats, understanding their roles in preventing incidents, and reporting suspicious behavior.
What will you do?
Develop and deliver training programs focused on insider threat awareness.
Identify opportunities to drive insider risk awareness across the enterprise.
Maintain all collateral related to insider risk awareness and education, including course material, communications, FAQs, Job Aid, etc.
Continuously updates training materials to reflect the latest threat trends and mitigation strategies.
Collaborate with learning and communications teams across the enterprise to help socialize the program to all areas of the bank.
Remain up-to-date on the latest trends, tactics, and techniques used by insider threat actors.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
5 to 7 years’ experience in adult learning, change management, communications.
Exceptional communications skills with strong attention to detail.
Expert in developing various types of learning material to suite all learning styles.
Exceptional presentation skills, with expert level skills in MS Powerpoint
A team player, willing to work to support all team initiatives.
Able to work independently and takes initiative where appropriate.
Experience working in a large corporate organization.
High level of tolerance for ambiguity.
Must be available to work on premises min 3 days / week.
Nice-to-have
Experience in cybersecurity / insider risk domain.
