Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Information Security Specialist with a focus on Regulatory Remediation Assurance to join our global team in ensuring the successful resolution of regulatory issues within the bank. This critical role will lead a team tasked with testing and validating that the corrective actions outlined in response to regulatory findings to ensure that they are fully implemented and effectively resolve the issue in question.

The ideal candidate will lead with deep expertise in regulatory compliance, remediation processes, and risk management within a complex, global banking environment. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the investigation, assessment, and validation of evidence supporting remediation efforts, and ensuring that the bank's regulatory obligations are met in full and in a timely manner.

The successful candidate will provide guidance, leadership, coaching and development to ensure operational results and professional/personal development objectives are achieved for the overall group.

Responsibilities:

1. Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required.
2. Provides specialized expertise and guidance on assessing risks, identifying potential gaps, and providing security solutions to mitigate risks and protect TD.
3. Oversees and leads the Regulatory Remediation Assurance team within an area of significant risk, complexity or scope that include financial crimes and technology and cybersecurity domains.
4. Develop and maintain information security standards and procedures based on industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and organizational needs.
5. Strategic advisor to leadership team on the management of the portfolio and financials, with deep industry, external/internal, and enterprise knowledge, recognizing and anticipating emerging trends, and identifying operational efficiencies and opportunities with other business management/enterprise areas.
6. Highly specialized expert with in-depth knowledge of audit methodology for multiple, significant complex businesses, functional areas and/or global business lines.
7. Sets operational team direction and collaborates with others to execute on common goals.
8. Focuses on long term planning for functional area.
9. Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
10. May participate in or leads various projects / division initiatives as needed.

13. Strong presentation skills when delivering training and presentation at the division level, industry conferences, workshops, etc.

Requirements:

1. Undergraduate degree or relevant professional certifications, accounting designations, or equivalent education required.
2. 10+ years of relevant audit and/or control testing experience.
3. Preferred industry certification in audit and information security (i.e. CISSP, CISA, CIA, etc).
4. Advanced knowledge of audit standards, procedures, laws, rules, and regulations.
5. Advanced knowledge of risk management environment, standards, regulations, and mitigation.
6. Knowledge of current and emerging trends.
7. Skilled in managing budgets and resource allocation.
8. Skilled in mentoring, coaching and performance management.
9. Advanced ability to lead, plan, implement and evaluate program/project activities to ensure completion of issue.
10. Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form.
11. Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships across teams and functions.
12. Ability to work successfully as a member of a team and independently.
13. Ability to exercise sound judgement in making decisions.
