This role contributes to the success of a client portfolio in Canadian Commercial Banking, focusing on payments, Cash Management, Deposit products, and related services. The Senior Manager is a specialist with a strong understanding of these products and is responsible for negotiating and structuring solutions with clients, ensuring alignment with the bank's strategy and compliance with regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Foster a customer-focused culture to deepen relationships and leverage broader bank resources.
  • Promote growth in Payment & Cash Management and Deposit products within the assigned market, including developing marketing strategies, sales plans, and partnering with internal teams.
  • Engage in business development activities to meet growth objectives.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, service enhancements, and competitor offerings, communicating relevant information to clients and team members.
  • Maintain and grow client relationships through ongoing attention and service excellence.
  • Support diversity initiatives and adhere to the bank’s risk and conduct standards.
  • Ensure operational efficiency and compliance with controls, AML/ATF, sanctions, and conduct risk policies.
  • Contribute to a high-performance, inclusive work environment.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in business, economics, or equivalent work experience.
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
  • Strong sales, networking, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and credit knowledge.
  • Deep understanding of bank’s commercial products, customer profitability, and financial analysis.
  • Proficiency with MS Office and commercial banking systems.
  • Ability to travel and access to a vehicle; in-office presence required.
