Senior Manager, Global Mobility Tax Services

Our Global Mobility Services team provides compliance and consulting services to organizations with international workforces, focusing on Canadian and foreign personal income taxes, cross-border payroll, social security taxes, compensation design, policy frameworks, pensions, and more. We craft sophisticated tax planning and compensation strategies to help companies and their employees manage tax liabilities and operational expenses globally.

In this role, you will deliver Canadian and US tax compliance and advisory services, manage a diverse client portfolio, foster strong relationships, and apply your expertise in cross-border tax issues to provide innovative solutions. You will also oversee technical, administrative, and support functions related to expatriate tax programs. We value continuous learning and teamwork to deliver exceptional client service.

What You Will Do
  • Lead client engagements and resolve complex tax challenges.
  • Manage all aspects of international assignment programs.
  • Provide advisory services on global mobility taxation tailored to client needs.
  • Handle tax compliance activities, including individual returns, projections, tax equalizations, briefings, and cross-border payroll.
  • Review junior staff work for accuracy and completeness.
  • Implement technology solutions to improve efficiency, including AI tools.
  • Mentor staff, supporting their career development and learning.
What You Bring To The Role
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in a public accounting firm, specializing in personal Canadian tax and cross-border payroll; US tax knowledge is an asset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
  • Strong people management skills.
  • Motivated, growth-oriented mindset.
  • High standards of client service and professionalism.
  • Analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and computer skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Canadian or US accounting designation or professional license is a plus but not required.
Additional Information

The salary range for BC is $102,500 to $200,000, potentially including bonuses, based on skills and qualifications. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards program.
