Job summary

Electronic Arts (EA) seeks a Senior Manager, Game Capture to lead strategy, execution, and evolution of gameplay capture across EA’s portfolio. You will manage teams creating authentic gameplay content for trailers, campaigns, and brand storytelling.

This hands-on leadership role partners with creative, marketing, production, and studios to deliver capture that aligns with campaign goals and player experience. Hybrid work arrangement in North America applies.

Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in gameplay capture, video production, game marketing, or related field.
  • 3+ years leading teams and developing talent.
  • Understanding of gameplay capture techniques and real-time game engines.
  • Experience producing gameplay assets for trailers, campaigns, and social content.
  • Knowledge of production workflows, asset management, and pipelines.
  • Experience with visual storytelling and authentic gameplay content.

  • Build, lead, and develop multiple Game Capture teams and nurture future leaders.
  • Define and lead gameplay capture strategy across multiple titles to ensure quality and scalability.
  • Oversee planning and delivery of gameplay footage for trailers, marketing campaigns and launches.
  • Partner with creative, production, and studios to translate campaign goals into capture plans.
  • Establish scalable workflows and production technologies, including AI-assisted tools.
  • Provide creative direction to ensure authentic player experiences aligned with campaigns.
  • Collaborate on resource planning, prioritization, and scheduling across projects.
  • Work with external vendors to support large campaigns and specialized capture needs.
  • Track performance and continuously improve processes and stakeholder satisfaction.

Senior Manager, Game Capture

Reporting to the Director of Production, the Senior Manager, Game Capture leads the strategy, execution, and evolution of gameplay capture across EA’s portfolio. You will manage a team responsible for creating high-quality, authentic gameplay content that supports marketing campaigns and brand storytelling.

This is a hands‑on people leadership role that partners closely with creative, marketing, production, development studios, and external partners to deliver gameplay assets that align with campaign goals, creative vision, and the player experience.

Responsibilities
  • Build, lead, and develop multiple teams of Game Capture professionals, creating clear career paths, coaching future leaders, and fostering a collaborative and innovative team culture.
  • Define and lead the gameplay capture strategy across multiple titles, ensuring quality, efficiency, and scalability of capture operations.
  • Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of gameplay footage for trailers, marketing campaigns, live service, social content, product launches, and other promotional needs.
  • Partner with creative, production, and studio teams to translate campaign goals into capture plans that showcase gameplay features, moments, and narratives effectively.
  • Establish scalable workflows, best practices, and production technologies that improve operational efficiency, content quality, and organizational capability, including the use of latest AI‑assisted and real‑time production tools.
  • Provide creative direction and quality oversight to ensure gameplay capture authentically represents player experiences while supporting campaign storytelling goals.
  • Collaborate on resource planning, prioritization, and scheduling across multiple projects, balancing business needs, timelines, and team capacity.
  • Work with external vendors and production partners when needed to support large‑scale campaigns and specialised capture requirements.
  • Track team performance, delivery metrics, and operational effectiveness, continuously improving processes and stakeholder satisfaction.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in gameplay capture, video production, game marketing, creative production, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience leading teams, with experience developing talent and building effective, collaborative teams.
  • Understanding of gameplay capture techniques, real‑time game engines, camera systems, and in‑game content creation workflows.
  • Experience producing gameplay assets for trailers, launch campaigns, social media, digital marketing, or other consumer-facing content.
  • Knowledge of video production workflows, editorial processes, asset management, and content delivery pipelines.
  • Experience with visual storytelling, player experience, and creating authentic gameplay content that resonates with audiences.
  • Interest in latest production technologies and AI‑enabled workflows that improve content creation efficiency and creative possibilities.

Compensation And Benefits

The ranges listed below are what EA in good faith expects to pay applicants for this role in these locations at the time of this posting. If you reside in a different location, a recruiter will advise on the applicable range and benefits. Pay offered will be determined based on a number of relevant business and candidate factors (e.g. education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, or business needs).

PAY RANGES
  • British Columbia (depending on location e.g. Vancouver vs. Victoria) $133,500 - $186,400 CAD

Pay is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. For Canada, we offer a package of benefits including vacation (3 weeks per year to start), 10 days per year of sick time, paid top‑up to EI/QPIP benefits up to 100% of base salary when you welcome a new child (12 weeks for maternity, and 4 weeks for parental/adoption leave), extended health/dental/vision coverage, life insurance, disability insurance, retirement plan to regular full‑time employees. Certain roles may also be eligible for bonus and equity.
