The opportunity

As a member of our growing FAAS team, you will bring our services to the Financial Services sector, including Banking, Capital Markets, Wealth Management, and Pension funds. You will work with clients to enhance insights and control, optimize performance, and guide complex accounting, regulatory, and transformation initiatives, leveraging our extensive network and resources.

Your key responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain internal and external relationships, developing long-term client networks and collaborating across EY practices.
  • Provide innovative insights by adapting industry best practices to meet client needs.
  • Support clients with financial and regulatory reporting, disclosures, regulatory capital, and performance improvement.
  • Assist finance leaders in addressing challenges across the finance function.
  • Support business development activities and client engagement efforts.
Skills and attributes for success
  • Lead external consulting engagements aligned with the CFO agenda in Financial Services.
  • Drive business development, including proposal development and client presentations.
  • Stay informed on industry and regulatory trends relevant to clients.
  • Specialize in specific areas or industries, supporting go-to-market strategies.
  • Manage engagement finances and build internal relationships across practice lines.
People Management responsibilities
  • Develop team members through coaching, feedback, and mentoring.
  • Foster an inclusive, innovative team environment.
  • Lead performance reviews and contribute to talent development initiatives.
  • Participate in recruiting, training, and maintaining a skilled team.
Qualifications
  • 7+ years in banking and capital markets industry.
  • Professional qualifications such as MBA, CA, CPA.
  • Deep knowledge of prudential regulations, capital infrastructure, and accounting standards like IFRS 9, IAS 39, IAS 32.
  • Experience with finance transformation projects, team leadership, and client management.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
Preferred skills
  • Ability to work independently and build client relationships.
  • Proven track record in revenue growth and account development.
