What is the opportunity
As the Senior Manager Field Sales Operations you will work closely in partnership with the Head of Field Sales and play a critical role in optimizing the performance, governance, and operational effectiveness of the Field Sales organization. This role will drive the execution of strategic priorities, partnering with Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs), head office teams, and internal partners to ensure sales, compliance, and client experience goals are met.
This individual acts as the operational right arm to the Head of Field Sales, ensuring national alignment, risk oversight, strategic integration, and leadership support that fuels productivity and long-term growth.
What will you do?
Develop and implement tools, frameworks, and practices to enhance productivity, growth, and compliance across the salesforce.
Partner with teams like Compliance, Product, Marketing, HR, and others to execute national priorities and align on key initiatives.
Support business planning and use data to identify trends, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
Lead initiatives to streamline operations, improve advisor and leader experiences, and eliminate inefficiencies.
Ensure regulatory and policy compliance across Field Sales; maintain audit readiness and manage reputational risks.
Lead project implementation, change management, and internal communications for transformational efforts.
Lead and develop a team of support staff; support leadership engagement and talent strategies.
Champion employee engagement through surveys, events, recognition campaigns, and succession planning.
What do you need to succeed?
Must Have
Undergraduate degree or equivalent
LLQP Licensed / Insurance Experience
5+ years of experience in Sales operations
Strong business acumen and ability to think strategically and execute tactically.
Skilled at navigating complex situations, with a track record of cross-functional collaboration for all products (Life, Living benefits, Wealth, Home & Auto)
A credible partner who can drive change, coach leaders, and manage complex situations with discretion.
Focus on continuous improvement in advisor productivity, risk mitigation, employee engagement, and execution of strategic priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Nice to have
Bilingualism (English and French), as you will regularly do business with RBC partners and/or employees across Canada with English and French speaking needs.
