Reports to : Director, Facilities & Workplace Experience

Location : North Vancouver, BC

Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX :

As the Senior Project Manager – Design and Construction, you will drive projects, processes, and deliverables for all Facilities initiatives. Your focus on operational excellence will ensure the delivery of world-class experiences from concept to completion, on time and within budget. You should have strong communication skills, workback schedules, and a collaborative mindset. Strategic thinking, relationship building, and a positive attitude are essential.

This role is based in North Vancouver with a hybrid work model. Travel requirements will be approximately 10–15% annually (around 6–8 weeks per year). Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.

The Facilities & Workplace Experience team collaborates with the business to create an industry-leading workplace. We support evolving physical spaces across multiple locations including North Vancouver, New Westminster, Portland, and Tokyo, with plans for expansion.

If you were the Senior Project Manager, Design and Construction, your core activities would include:

  1. Developing detailed project plans with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  2. Ensuring stakeholder alignment on timelines, responsibilities, and success criteria.
  3. Maintaining the master Facilities project schedule and capital budget.
  4. Leading project check-ins to monitor scope, schedule, budget, and risks.
  5. Overseeing construction to ensure design intent is achieved.
  6. Managing external consultants, architects, engineers, and contractors.
  7. Leading RFP processes in partnership with Procurement and Legal.
  8. Mitigating risks related to permits, scope, timelines, and supply chains.
  9. Collaborating with various teams to deliver integrated environments.
  10. Partnering with global Facilities teams to support regional and enterprise growth.
  11. Building strong stakeholder relationships based on understanding needs.
  12. Driving operational excellence through process and workflow improvements.
  13. Facilitating post-project reviews for continuous improvement.
  14. Implementing tools and processes for project management and reporting.
  15. Developing standards and playbooks for design and construction.
  16. Incorporating sustainable practices into projects.
  17. Staying informed on workplace trends and innovations.

Future initiatives may include:

  1. Building and leading a high-performing project team.
  2. Strategic planning for global capital investments.
  3. Innovating in workplace design, including labs and creative spaces.
  4. Measuring space performance and its impact on engagement.
  5. Mentoring junior team members.
  6. Managing larger, complex projects as the business grows.

The ideal candidate has:

  • 6+ years of project management experience in branded environments or similar.
  • Experience working with brand, design, and marketing teams.

  • Proficiency in project management software like Smartsheet, Monday, Jira.

Salary Range: CAD$94,000 - CAD$129,000 annually. Compensation is based on skills, experience, and qualifications. This range reflects base salary only; benefits and bonuses are additional.
