    What you'll be doing

    As a member of Everyday Banking Acquisition Team, you will be accountable for being a lead contributor for end-to-end analytics and insights supporting Deposit & Credit Cards Acquisition. The Acquisition Analytics and Insights Team is responsible for; Maintaining, evaluating and enhancing performance management reporting, Consulting on new opportunities through data-driven analytics and insights, Supporting offer and campaign development and post-analysis through analytics and reporting. In this role, you will lead analytics initiatives to evaluate performance, profitability, and client behaviours to optimize business decisions related to Everyday Banking acquisition offers, campaigns, marketing, onboarding and application funnel through activities. You will continue to evolve and enhance the existing analytics and reporting processes to optimize how insights can contribute to data-driven recommendations for the Acquisition and Onboarding Team. This ultimately helps identify opportunities to improve how we acquire new clients.

    How you'll succeed

    • Consultant – Enable data-driven decision making and proactively identify opportunities to drive acquisition growth. Incorporate deep analytical capabilities to deliver value added recommendations.
    • Analytics & Reporting – Leverage various dashboards to influence decisions and/or identify gaps as you take ownership to provide insights that are clear and concise.
    • Technology – Leverage data/analytical tools to analyze large structured and unstructured datasets, build data pipeline and visualization from multiple data sources.
    • Ownership – Focus on end-to-end delivery of solutions that meet the team requirements and contribute to the success of the acquisition strategies. You will be the owner in analytics initiatives and identify and translate of business needs into analytics requirements.
    • Communication – Become a storyteller as you find the story in data and be flexible in communicating at varying levels of details for the right audience.


    Who you are

    • You have a degree in a quantitative field (i.e. business, mathematics, statistics, economics, engineering) or equivalent experience. Advanced degree is an asset (i.e. MSc, MMA, MBAN, MA, MBA).
    • You must be proficient with analytical tools and have experience using modern big data, analytical and dashboard tools (i.e. SAS, SQL, ThoughtSpot, Alteryx, Tableau, Cognos).
    • You have experience in building end-to-end analytics insights involving large datasets (i.e. requirement gathering, data extraction, cleaning and transformation, statistical analysis/modeling, presentation & implementation) and extract key insights that tell the story behind the data.
    • You are a problem solver. You have exceptional critical and analytical thinking, problem solving and decision-making skills with demonstrated ability to independently identify and analyze business problems and recommend solutions.
    • You can be clearly understood. You have strong communication and presentation skills with a demonstrated ability to clearly and concisely present information to groups and individuals at all levels in the organization.
