Role Overview

Reporting to the Director, Enterprise Pharmacy Operations and Performance, the Senior Manager is responsible for supporting pharmacy operations projects that promote operational excellence and best practices across the enterprise. The role focuses on optimizing pharmacy performance and workload planning, acting as a liaison between Central Office, store teams, and external stakeholders.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and assist in delivering pharmacy-related initiatives to enhance performance.
  • Lead research, recommendations, implementation, and sustainment of store-level pharmacy operations, seeking continuous improvement opportunities.
  • Provide operational guidance across various departments including Central Pharmacy Services, Enterprise Operations, and more.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings, providing pharmacy operations perspectives.
  • Design frameworks for short and long-term pharmacy strategies and workflows.
  • Act as a liaison with other departments to ensure performance metrics and expectations are met.
  • Drive execution of programs and foster a performance culture with field operators.
  • Support and train Pharmacy Operations Specialists and District Managers on initiatives.
  • Develop content for national pharmacy updates, field resources, and meetings.

Qualifications

  • Licensed Pharmacist with a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or equivalent, in good standing with the Ontario College of Pharmacists or other Canadian body.
  • 3-6 years of relevant experience in healthcare, pharmacy, consulting, or retail management; at least 3 years as a Pharmacist in Canada.
  • Proven ability to drive results collaboratively and influence stakeholders.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Creative thinker comfortable with ambiguity, multitasking, and working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong project and change management skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and training skills.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Excel, Word.
  • Fluency in French and English is an asset.
  • Ability to travel approximately 30% of the time.
