Job Description & Summary: In this role, the successful candidate will work on ensuring the quality of our consulting services across all practice areas in Canada. Responsibilities may include management and reporting on various platforms, tools, and methods. The role has an overarching view of Consulting sales and delivery KPIs and performance; role expectations, learning and development; quality management and upskilling for our community of coaches. The successful incumbent will gain experience in PwC’s delivery model and quality management in a collaborative environment of professionals committed to delivery excellence. This role involves creating presentations, training materials, job aids, and other deliverables to raise the skill set of the entire organization. This is a newly created 12-month opportunity open to all Consulting applicants located in Montreal, Ottawa, Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver.

Meaningful work you’ll be part of

As a Senior Manager, Project Delivery Excellence for our Consulting Practice, you will work as part of a team of problem solvers to address complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include:

  • Quality Management: Oversee and implement quality management processes to ensure deliverables meet high standards of excellence.
  • Data analysis: Analyze data sources to support recommendations for Delivery Excellence improvements with evidence (e.g., sales data, delivery risks data, financial data).
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to enhance service delivery and client satisfaction (e.g., create new role descriptions for delivery teams, create process playbooks).
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with quality standards.
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate records and reports related to quality management and service delivery.
  • Staff Experience: Enhance staff experience on client engagements by designing processes that ensure engagements are meaningful, well defined, and well governed throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Experiences and skills you’ll use to solve
  • Hands-on project/program management: manage backlogs, develop and maintain project plans, monitor progress, and manage scope and stakeholder expectations to ensure timely delivery.
  • Client-facing consulting and contract management experience.
  • Delivery of product and technology initiatives in a consulting setting; rolling out internal delivery tools/methodologies is a plus.
  • Experience with project delivery platforms and methods (e.g., Jira, AzureDevOps, Agile).
  • Proven ability to establish governance, quality controls, and measure effectiveness in the consulting space.
  • Performance reporting to track delivery progress using data models and tools (Power BI, etc.).
  • Experience developing and communicating role expectations, core skills, and playbooks for quality delivery.
  • Experience improving Learning and Development content related to delivery and quality management.
  • Experience building a community of experienced delivery coaches.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • This is a 12-month opportunity.
  • French language: fluency required for Quebec-based opportunities; outside Quebec, French is an asset.

PwC BC Region Pay Range Information

The salary range for this position is $144,700 – $241,200, plus eligibility for an annual bonus. Actual compensation depends on skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
