Job description

As a Senior Manager, Data Engineering, you'll work as part of a problem-solving team to address business issues, deliver high-quality client service, and improve operational efficiency. Responsibilities include:

  • Crafting clear, impactful messages that tell a holistic story.
  • Applying systems thinking to identify underlying problems or opportunities.
  • Validating outcomes with clients and sharing alternative perspectives.
  • Leading the team through complex and ambiguous situations.
  • Deepening your expertise to stay relevant.
  • Initiating open coaching conversations at all levels.
  • Making difficult decisions to resolve team issues.
  • Modeling professional and technical standards, including PwC's code of conduct and independence requirements.

Required experiences and skills include:

  • Hands-on experience as a data engineer developing analytics solutions.
  • Technical expertise in data integrations, models, mining, and warehousing.
  • Proficiency in developing data pipelines on cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
  • Experience with data modeling and management tools like SQL Server, Oracle, Azure Synapse, Redshift, and others.
  • Proficiency in data analytics and visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik.
  • Knowledge of machine learning libraries in Python, Spark, and AI frameworks is an asset.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, JavaScript, and frameworks like React or Node.js is an asset.
  • Data engineering certification is a plus.
