What You’ll Be Doing
As the Senior Manager, Data Engineer – CAM, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the data infrastructure that supports the reporting, analysis, and strategic initiatives for CIBC’s Collections function. This includes designing, building, and managing the data pipelines and architecture needed to collect, store, and process data related to collections performance, customer interactions, and financial outcomes. With your knowledge of the collections process and advanced data engineering expertise, you will ensure that the right data is available to the business for decision-making, performance evaluation, and future strategy development.
You will oversee the development of a robust data platform that supports various reporting needs for early-stage, mid-stage, late-stage, and dialer collections. Your team will be responsible for transforming raw data into actionable insights and ensuring that collections leaders and stakeholders have the data they need to optimize performance and reduce losses. Additionally, you will work closely with other teams in IT, Business Intelligence, and Risk to ensure data integrity and compliance with governance standards.
