As Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Risk Management, you will oversee key areas within the global cybersecurity portfolio, including Cyber Risk Management, Cybersecurity Architecture, and Third-Party Cyber Risk Management. This role will provide direction, implement the global cyber strategy, ensure risks are properly triaged, communicate outstanding risks to IT senior leadership and business stakeholders, and manage the global team.

You will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing Nutrien's cybersecurity risk management program globally. This includes overseeing all aspects of risk management, compliance, and organizational resilience. You will uplift third-party risk assessment processes across all geographies and partner with Technology and Business groups to ensure early engagement for new initiatives to assess cyber risk earlier and remediate gaps quickly. Incorporating cybersecurity architecture into our projects early is fundamental to building secure-by-design systems.

What you will do :

  • Oversee Nutrien's Threat and Risk Assessment team and functions responsible for mandatory cybersecurity threat and risk assessments of all IT projects and business-initiated technology projects, including oversight of the cybersecurity architecture team.
  • Oversee Nutrien's Third-Party Risk Management process, responsible for cybersecurity assessments of third-party vendors in collaboration with Legal and Procurement teams.
  • Manage updates to Nutrien's Cybersecurity Policies and Standards, providing guidance across global segments.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive risk management strategy aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Ensure cybersecurity risks are identified, documented, and remediated within risk tolerances.
  • Maintain a dashboard of cybersecurity metrics demonstrating compliance, risk trends, and remediation efforts.
  • Oversee cybersecurity compliance programs, ensuring stakeholder engagement and risk mitigation.
  • Build, mentor, and lead high-performing, diverse teams.
  • Collaborate transparently with peers and partners.
  • Manage departmental budget with financial acumen.
  • Coordinate with regulatory bodies and internal/external auditors regarding cybersecurity compliance.

What you will bring :

  • Bachelor's degree in a technology or information security-related field preferred; experience may substitute for education.
  • 10 years of relevant IT experience, including at least 4 years supervising IT teams.
  • Experience with NIST CSF, NIST SP 800-53, NIST SP 800-82, HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC1/SOC2.
  • Experience in risk management, governance, and regulatory compliance.
  • Ability to remain calm and effective during cybersecurity incidents.
  • Strong communication skills to support change and influence outcomes.
  • Proven management of service delivery in a service provider environment.
  • Understanding of audit, regulatory, risk, and compliance functions.
