What is the opportunity?

This role provides leadership, planning and execution of communication and marketing strategies and programs to enhance the reputation and corporate image of RBC, drive employee engagement and support the business objectives and strategic priorities of Automotive Finance (AF).

What will you do?

  • Provides strategic support to Automotive Finance leadership to ensure a consistent and authentic representation of our brand in community, with our clients and employees.

  • Develop and deliver senior leadership communications for both internal and external audiences (including presentations, speeches, select social media posts)

  • Develop and deliver professional and effective communications tactics in support of business objectives and client relationship management

  • Manage tactical, day-to-day communications related to strategic employee engagement efforts.

  • Collaborates with subject matter experts, and business partners to foster a wholesome understanding of the industry and alignment to the business strategy.

  • Creates communications to support positive client interactions through key channels such as social media, traditional PR and events.

  • Creates content for the AF Relationship Managers to drive the delivery of superior advice and service.

  • Manages communication tactics for client events, community events and regionally-lead business development opportunities.

  • Develops business results presentations and messaging for leadership meetings and national employee events

  • Manage communication repository on RBC Connect and ensure accessible to Relationship Managers

Must have:

  • Exceptional written skills and ability to create business messaging through partner collaboration

  • Effective presentation skills including superior knowledge of PowerPoint

  • Demonstrates flexible thinking, and actively looks for ways to improve how they interact with Automotive Finance leadership, partners, and team

  • Effectively manage multiple projects with diverse teams
