Senior Manager, Clinical and Support Programs (18-Month Contract)

Are you a collaborative leader with a passion for improving care for children with cancer? POGO is seeking a strategic and relationship-driven programs professional to oversee province-wide programs supporting patients, families, and healthcare teams in delivering world-class childhood cancer care. This is an opportunity to shape high-impact initiatives and contribute to a more equitable, coordinated childhood cancer care system across Ontario.

Responsibilities include:

  • Delivering evidence-based, high-quality programs across the province, including satellite, nursing, financial assistance, clinical trials, and advisory committees.
  • Managing and evaluating programs, developing partnerships, and ensuring alignment with the Ontario Childhood Cancer Care Plan.
  • Building relationships with hospital teams and fostering collaboration within and outside POGO.
  • Developing annual work plans, utilizing data for system improvements, and reporting outcomes.
  • Preparing business cases and supporting hospital accountability agreements.
  • Leading and inspiring team members and developing education initiatives.
  • Overseeing communication strategies and project plans for program delivery.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in health administration, nursing, or relevant field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in program management, preferably in clinical settings.
  • Knowledge of Ontario’s healthcare system, pediatrics, or pediatric cancer care.
  • Proven leadership in managing teams and developing staff.
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and ability to travel within Ontario.
