Job summary

You will manage engagements end-to-end, develop relationships, and ensure quality delivery while guiding staff development and project efficiency.

Qualifications

• A Canadian CPA/CA designation is required.
• Minimum 7 years of public accounting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises and Canadian tax.
• Excellent proficiency with MS Office and tax software.
• Ability to mentor and develop others and build client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Deliver value to clients by providing knowledge, ideas and solutions to improve their business.
• Lead planning and management of engagements in line with firm methodologies.
• Proactively coordinate assignments efficiently and effectively.
• Lead practice and professional development initiatives.
• Mentor staff, ensure staff needs and development are addressed.
• Develop internal and external relationships and networks.
• Manage engagement financials including budgets, WIP, variances and billing.
• Generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions.
