We are currently looking to hire
a full-time Senior Manager to join the CRC National Management team to work from India. This role will ideally suit a professional with a proven track record of exceptional communication and technical skills in the assurance practice primarily on compilations. The CRC Senior Manager will be assisting the enterprise and ECS business units and the CRC Champions network with monthly reporting and budget modelling so that they are able to manage their CRC objectives and related KPIs. Therefore, a primary role of the CRC Senior Manager is to provide direct support and guidance to both offshore and onshore teams so that Canadian audit engagement teams can effectively leverage the CRC on their compilations work.
The focus will be to support engagement teams working on compilations and to formalize processes and policies for Risk Management and regulatory compliance purposes.
What You Will Do
Operations
- Overseeing day-to-day operations in collaboration with other members of the CRC national management team.
- Provide direct support to enterprise and ECS engagement teams so they can effectively leverage the Assurance CRC on their engagements.
- Assist in overseeing the Quality (QMCI) team at the CRC in India by identifying areas for quality improvement and overseeing the implementation of solutions to ensure the highest audit quality and deliverables.
- Prepare training materials, how-to, monthly/quarterly newsletters, and other guidance documents for the internal CRC portal.
- Leverage firm processes and programs to ensure active support of the business.
- Oversee the usage of One Port (our intake portal) and be responsible to update existing intake processes and create new processed as necessary and as new services are developed and deployed. Test updated and new processes to ensure they operate as designed.
Reporting
- Provide support to geographic business units to achieve geographic and local office CRC objectives.
- Prepare monthly reporting packages for senior audit leadership and business unit leaders, including financial results and strategic commentary on hours results and trends.
Compliance - Controls
- Oversee the performance of the various controls to ensure they are operating effectively throughout the year, and that reporting timelines are being met.
- Work with the Department of Professional Practice and the Canadian risk management team to ensure that the services provided by the audit CRC team to engagement teams are approved prior to deployment to ensure high quality.
Other
- Willingness to travel internationally and ability to obtain requisite business traveler visa / work permits for India.
- The successful candidate recognizes and agrees to start their day earlier or work later than the normal office hours to allow for sufficient overlap with the offshore management team. This is a critical success factor in ensuring smooth operational oversight.

What You Bring To The Role
- Canadian CPA designation or international equivalent.
- 8+ years of experience working with an enterprise or ECS practice , with at least 5 years in a management role.
- Senior manager or equivalent, having at least 2 years of experience with KPMG Canada.
- Minimum 5 years compilation and team management experience.
- Resourcefulness and creative problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical assurance skills.
- Proven time management and organizational skills.
- Bi-lingual in French and English is an asset.
- Superior written, and verbal communication skills in English is required.
- Strong ability to oversee and operations with greater than 100 individuals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.

- This position requires written and oral fluency in English.

This individual will be required to create documentation and share guidance to those in English-speaking provinces.
KPMG BC Region Pay Range Information
The expected base salary range for this position is $86,000 to $150,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, & competencies, and unique qualifications. In addition, KPMG offers a comprehensive and competitive Total Rewards program.
