The Role:
The Senior Manager, Business System Manager is the overall application owner and relationship manager for a portfolio of Regulatory applications, including: Volcker Application, Covered Funds, Do not Email, eQube Technical Lead, and others.
Is this role right for you? In this role you will:
- The GRCT Business System Manager is the overall application owner and relationship manager for a portfolio of Regulatory applications including: Volcker Application, Covered Funds, Do not Email, eQube Technical Lead, and others.
- Lead the business systems analysis team in gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and regulatory requirements.
- Oversee the end-to-end implementation of system enhancements, ensuring alignment with Volcker and other regulations.
- Partner with risk and compliance teams to translate regulatory requirements into functional specifications.
- Define and drive the roadmap for the application portfolio, aligning it with business and regulatory strategies.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure system functionality meets compliance and business needs.
- Provide guidance on process improvements, automation, and data management strategies to enhance operational efficiency.
- Lead stakeholder meetings, conduct impact assessments, and manage change initiatives related to the Regulatory Application portfolio.
- Manage vendor relationships, contracts, invoices, and serve as application owner for specific applications.
Do you have the skills to succeed in this role? We’d love to work with you if you have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in business analysis within financial services, focusing on regulatory applications.
- Deep knowledge of Volcker and related compliance, trading regulations, and financial instruments.
- Experience managing complex technology projects in compliance or regulatory domains.
- Strong understanding of data management, reporting tools, and risk assessment methodologies.
- Experience with business process modeling, automation, and system implementation.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with senior management and regulatory bodies.
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, PySpark, Airflow, Streaming Architecture, and GCP is a plus.
- Strong people management skills.
Additional responsibilities include ensuring projects meet deadlines and regulatory requirements, managing business testing, and overseeing multi-system change projects.
