We are seeking Senior Managers to join our dynamic Real Estate and Funds, Audit team. Our professionals help clients manage risk so they can focus on their core business. As part of the management team, you will lead KPMG's audit teams and ensure the correct application of accounting practices and methodologies for our clients. What you will do

  • Oversee and manage client audits from planning and risk assessment to completion.
  • Provide technical, audit operations, and quality leadership on all engagements.
  • Participate in the practice group to help implement the business plan.
  • Work with assurance management to meet financial goals.
  • Develop, train, counsel, and mentor audit staff and seniors.
  • Help clients find solutions to their needs.
  • Work with clients and partners on complex accounting issues to develop appropriate solutions.
  • Apply KPMG's audit and accounting methodologies on client engagements.

What you bring to the role

  • Must have a Canadian CPA designation or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of audit experience in a public practice accounting firm.
  • Experience with IFRS and publicly listed clients.
  • Excellent client service skills and ability to understand clients' businesses.
  • Ability to coach, develop, and mentor staff and seniors.
  • Strong motivation and dedication to high standards of client service.
  • Proven ability to build client relationships and revenue.
  • Excellent communication skills, team player, meticulous attention to detail.
  • Experience in professional accounting firm audits is essential.
  • Effective delegation and leadership skills.
