Stella’s Place in Toronto is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Annual Campaigns and Development Operations. This hands-on leader will drive donor acquisition, retention, and moves management, while guiding the campaign team and coordinating with the Design & Digital Media unit to support outreach.
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, you will manage a 400+ donor portfolio, oversee fundraising systems and reporting, and ensure accurate gift processing and data integrity.

Location: Toronto - Hybrid 3 days / week in office
Salary: $95,000-$102,000/ year
Reporting directly to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), the hands‑on Senior Manager, Annual Campaigns & Development Operations, will increase annual funds, develop and execute the Annual Campaign, manage appeals, oversee and create efficiencies in development system tools, and operationally prepare the development department for future growth.

The successful candidate will develop and lead all Annual Campaign fundraising activities for gifts, driving the acquisition and managing the stewardship of monthly donors. Reporting to the Chief Development Officer (CDO), This Senior management role will help supervise and grow the Annual Campaign Team, overseeing development officer(s), student placements, and the Mid-Level Giving Officer. You will serve as the team lead interfacing with and overseeing the Design & Digital Media team, which will support the department's marketing outreach efforts. You will mentor and/or collaborate with all members of the development team. You will collaborate with the other departments and oversee contracted support as needed. Operationally, this role ensures that quality standards are adhered to for all fundraising activities, including oversight and direction of general administration, stewardship tracking, moves management, budgeting for the Annual Campaign, gift processing, oversight of the CRM database, its manual and its reports, and oversight of licensed tools for development support.

This is a full‑time, hybrid, senior leadership position working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, including 3 in‑office days per week. As a key leader of the development team, occasional weekend and evening work will be required in response to events, donor needs, and strategic initiatives. You will receive regular coaching, development, and performance feedback from the Chief Development Officer and provide the same to your direct reports.
$95,000-$102,000/ year - commensurate with experience
