Job summary

Apple Retail in Canada seeks a Senior Manager to lead a diverse team, shape store vision, and drive performance goals while delivering the Apple experience.

As a Senior Manager, you're responsible for creating a positive environment of customer interactions that effectively drive achievement of performance goals and business priorities. You help drive your store's vision and purpose, develop other managers, and support the Store Leader with business strategies and critical decision making.

Responsibilities
  • Lead a team (including Managers), empowering each team member to learn, grow, and achieve performance and developmental goals.
  • Assist with recruiting, training, developing, and retaining a diverse, high-performing team.
  • Actively participate in Floor Leadership by interacting with team members and customers throughout the store, modelling what good looks like, and making sure that business priorities are met and exceptional customer service is delivered.
  • Address customer and team member concerns and escalations, and partner with leadership and key business or People partners when appropriate.
  • Drive business priorities and achieve store performance goals by establishing, planning, and executing the operational strategy of assigned functional areas and the entire store.
  • Maintain and uphold company policies and procedures, and protect all company assets, including confidential business, customer, team member, and financial information.
  • Contribute to an inclusive environment by respecting each others' differences and having the curiosity to learn.
  • Demonstrate Apple's values of inclusion and diversity in daily activities.
  • Be a role model for inclusive leadership behaviours and build, develop, and retain diverse teams.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Available to work a schedule based on business needs that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays in the retail store.
  • 3 years of leadership experience in retail, sales, or a related field.
  • Proficient in written and spoken French if role is based in Quebec; English required for roles throughout Canada.
