Job summary

Interior Health is seeking a Maintenance Worker V to join Golden and District Hospital. The role involves supervising staff and performing trades duties up to journeyman level, including electrical, plumbing, and painting, ensuring work meets codes and regulations.

Qualifications

• Grade 10 education required.
• Four years’ recent related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise other Maintenance Workers and designated staff.
• Perform electrical, plumbing and painting trades duties up to journeyman level.
• Construct and repair walls, doors and ceilings; handle drywall, wood paneling and floor coverings.
• Design, construct and repair furniture and perform plastering and decorating tasks for renovations and maintenance.
