We are looking for a Senior Maintenance Supervisor to join our Maintenance team! Our Senior Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance team to ensure that all maintenance assignments are carried out in an efficient and safe manner.

You will be working alongside the Maintenance Manager to lead a well-trained and driven maintenance team to success! In this role, you will be functioning in a dynamic environment where being a highly motivated self-starter, and staying on top of pressing priorities may be a challenge. However, this gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your leadership abilities and provide continuous improvement feedback as we continue to expand. You will also have a chance to develop your leadership skills further and grow your career with a progressive family-owned company.

things you will do...

• Organize maintenance work assignments within appropriate timeframes and stay within allocated budget
• Set-up, maintain, and supervise preventative maintenance systems, inspection routines, scheduling, training and more
• Provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities for team members, such as conducting root cause analysis, maintenance team huddle, major down time review and job safety review
• Lead the maintenance team in rapid response to equipment failures and production line downtimes
• Coordinate contractors' activities and uphold communication with stakeholders as needed
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives and safety objectives
• Strive for zero incidents and ensure a people centered safety culture exists within the department
• Perform audits of in-process and closed work orders and track spare parts inventory
