  • Managing direct reports, including hiring and training.

Position: Senior Logistics Manager

Location: Port Coquitlam BC

Compensation: $90K - $110K

Responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining all trucks and trailers through regular inspections and scheduling CVIs
  • Managing seasonal tire changes and chain supplies
  • Setting up delivery routes, tracking driver times, and adjusting for traffic and weather
  • Ensuring compliance with Hours of Service regulations and maintaining electronic logs
  • Monitoring freight costs and preparing reports
  • Supporting Satellite Distribution Center Managers
  • Managing direct reports, including hiring, training, and scheduling

Standards and Goals:

  • Training drivers in TDG and vehicle inspections
  • Ensuring timely deliveries and maintaining low skid shortages
  • Developing service improvement options and KPIs

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in logistics, routing, and shipping
  • Certified in TDG and familiar with CVSE and CVI regulations
