Job Description

The Loan Review VP will assist in implementing the credit review process of the Loan Portfolio booked in the US Branches and offices of CACIB on a timely basis. This review focuses on assessing the adequacy of credit risk ratings for loans in the Americas, evaluating the supervision of loan documentation, collateral management, and ongoing file management in accordance with CACIB's Risk Policies and Procedures. The individual will work closely with the Head of Loan Review and the existing team to define, analyze, and document credit reviews, prepare reports, and follow up on recommendations. The role also involves presenting findings to various departments involved in credit processes, with reports sent to Management in New York and Paris.

Key Responsibilities

1. Develop goals and plans for portfolio reviews with the team.
2. Prepare timely credit file reviews, including analysis of initial underwriting, risk rating verification, collateral assessment, and compliance with credit and operational policies.
3. Analyze obligor risk ratings and ensure adherence to credit standards, documenting findings in formal reports.
4. Present reviews to management and other departments, and develop follow-up programs for recommendations.
5. Document work traceably and maintain awareness of accounting standards and industry trends.
6. Assist in communication with internal and external auditors during examinations.
