A leading senior living organization in London, Ontario is seeking a Housekeeping Aide responsible for cleaning and sanitization of residents' apartments and common areas. Candidates should have knowledge of institutional cleaning techniques and the ability to work with minimal supervision. A current Vulnerable Sector Check is required. Qualifications

• Ability to provide feedback on a day-to-day basis.
• Previous experience in commercial/residential/healthcare cleaning and laundry procedures is desirable.
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the cleaning and sanitization of all resident's apartments and common areas.
• Clean areas according to assigned schedules using appropriate methods and procedures.
• Operate floor care machines and steam cleaning equipment.

Skills

Good oral and written English communication skills

Knowledge and experience with standard institutional cleaning techniques

Ability to work with minimal supervision

Proficiency in a second language
