Senior Legal Operations Analyst (Temporary)

We are looking for a Senior Legal Operations Analyst (Temporary) located in Toronto – Position Duration: 1 Year

The Impact You Will Have :

The Senior Legal Operations Analyst will report to the AVP, Head of North America Legal Operations, and be responsible for managing and tracking Canadian law and regulatory changes for the insurance business using Ethidex or other platforms. You will input and track manual cases and data as needed, submit product filings during peak periods, and support operational efficiencies in the Legal Department through new software, processes, and reporting. You will also compile and analyze data for monthly reports and support legal analyst tasks and special projects.

Some of your specific responsibilities could include :

  • Managing and tracking Canadian insurance law and regulatory changes using Ethidex and other platforms.
  • Participating in the execution of NA Legal department operational strategies.
  • Entering and tracking manual cases outside of Ethidex.
  • Creating strategic reports and presentations from data analysis.
  • Supporting product filings with Canadian regulatory agencies during peak periods.
  • Serving as backup for GCO Mailbox, NDA Mailbox, CT Corp, Legal Tracker, and Legal X, among other legal matters.
  • Participating in other projects and duties as required.

What You’ll Bring to the Role :

  • At least 1 year of experience in the insurance industry.
  • Knowledge of Canadian laws and regulations.
  • Experience with product filings.
  • Experience with technology implementations and Wolters Kluwer OSX.
  • Project and process management skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and relationship-building ability.
  • Initiative and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to learn and utilize AI tools for efficiency and data-driven decisions.
  • Bachelor’s degree.

The hourly pay range for this role is $53 - $63, with actual salary based on various factors including skills, education, and experience. Compensation includes performance bonuses, benefits, and other incentives.
