About The Role

You will be providing practical, business-oriented legal advice to support our company’s operations and growth. This role will work closely with business leaders, regulatory teams, and corporate offices to manage legal risk and enable strategic initiatives.

Your Day-to-Day:

This role will oversee and manage all day-to-day legal matters across the organisation, serving as the primary legal advisor to business leaders and internal teams. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  1. Contracts & Commercial Support
  2. Draft, review, and support a wide variety of commercial agreements, including customer contracts, vendor agreements, and service arrangements.
  3. Provide strategic advice to business units on contract structures, risks, and opportunities.
  4. Advise management on employment law matters, including employee relations, policies, terminations, and workplace investigations.
  5. Ensure compliance with applicable labour and employment legislation across multiple jurisdictions.
  6. Support the company’s compliance with regulatory requirements, including maintaining and renewing licenses and permits.
  7. Liaise with regulatory bodies and advise internal teams on licensing strategy and compliance matters.
  8. Assist in post-closing integration from a legal perspective.
  9. Support corporate governance processes and maintain corporate records as required.
  10. Identify and mitigate legal risks across business operations.
What You’ll Bring to the Role:
  1. 4+ years of post-call legal experience, including at least 2 years in an in-house legal team or corporate/commercial law firm practice.
  2. Experience handling:
  • Commercial contracts
  • Employment law matters
  • Regulatory/licensing schedules and legal requirements
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
