Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field with extensive systems engineering experience.
• Proven leadership in large, multi-disciplinary engineering teams.
• Experience with complex defence projects and risk-based thinking.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the systems engineering management plan for the department and projects.
• Oversee SE activities and enforce engineering processes across programs.
• Contribute to bids by reviewing proposals and compiling SE estimates.
• Plan metrics with project engineers and stakeholders; implement reporting.
• Identify training needs and deliver SE training and material.
• Lead process improvements and track implementation results.
• Assess tools for SE and recommend enhancements.
• Review artifacts (trade studies, specs, architectures) to meet quality objectives.
• Manage technical documentation and establish baselines; coordinate design reviews.
• Oversee budget and resources allocated for systems engineering.
