The role focuses on leading design, integration, and deployment of robotic and edge computing solutions, leveraging ROS 2, DDS, MAVLink, and OPC UA within hybrid work arrangements. You will work with NVIDIA Jetson hardware, Linux embedded platforms, and edge AI tools like Isaac Sim/Lab, Groot, and VDA 5050 frameworks to ensure scalable, secure deployments across OT and enterprise

ContractDuration: 05 Months with possible extension

Pay Rate:( $70 - $80/hour INC)

Location: Toronto, ON (Hybrid)

Job Description (English)

• Lead the design, integration, and deployment of robotics and edge computing solutions.
• Develop, configure, and support applications using ROS 2 (Robot Operating System 2).
• Design and manage distributed communication systems using DDS (Data Distribution Service).
• Integrate robotic and autonomous systems using MAVLink protocol.
• Develop industrial connectivity solutions using OPC UA standards.
• Implement fleet management and interoperability frameworks using VDA 5050.
• Design, deploy, and support embedded Linux-based platforms and applications.
• Work with NVIDIA Jetson hardware for edge AI and robotics computing workloads.
• Integrate industrial gateways and edge devices within operational technology and enterprise environments.
• Utilize Isaac Sim and Isaac Lab for simulation, testing, validation, and robotics development.
• Use Groot for behavior tree design, visualization, monitoring, and debugging.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable robotics integrations.
• Provide technical leadership, architecture guidance, and best practices for robotics and edge deployments.
